Controlled Material Removal (CMR) is our term for removal of a specific volume of material from the sample surface. For individual samples e.g. Accustop can be used, which is a holder specifically designed for controlled removal of material.

Our high volume grinder/polishers MAPS, AbraPol-10 and AbraPlan-10 are available with CMR units, and Prepamatic-2 comes standard with this feature. All of these, are found in the general grouping Grinding and Polishing Products.
